Hey, I tend to break out once to twice a week. I heard about this light:

http://www.ansr.com/ansr-beam/

It’s suppost to heal acne, and kill acne-causing bacteria. If I buy it, and it heals my acne, is it ok to use it when I don’t have any blemishes on my face, do prevent blemishes form apearing again? Or do I have to wait till one shows up to use it again? If it is okay to use it when I don’t have acne, how often?

No, these are bad for your skin if you keep using it, using it ONCE IN A WHILE for acne is okay, all the time will damage your skin. E.L.F. (eyeslipsface) has this powder that gets rid of acne when you apply it on, (read the reviews, it’s VERY effective), it’s only $8, too, try that instead of this.

15 Years old
They increase when i eat chocolate!
But they still exists even when i don’t ear :)

Over the counter cleansers, most based on peroxide are a good start. If these fail the best option is to see your GP for oral or topical antibiotics.

I have been using a new product lately that contains vitamin B12 and St. John’s wort. My skin had totally cleared up and I think these may have helped. I just went off the medicine and now my skin has started to break out again. Do you know if these vitamins help acne?

I know that B3 and B6 help but not sure of B12

i have tried mostly everything nothing works i have tried proative it worked but one day i forgot to put on the toner and when i looked in da mirror my skin was totally dry and scally so i stoped…..i ve tried over da counter product some give me effect but they drie my skin out any advice please oh and rigth now im trying clearasil vanishing cream please help!!!!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I even went to my doctor to get him to recommend me a good dermatologist, because I was so ashamed of the horrendous amount of acne on my face. So I just went around testing every product in the market until I found some that worked(still work) miracles for my face. I was interning at a hospital in Inida, and while I was there I found a few products that–I don’t know if they’re sold in stores here– really seem to help me. My two favorite brands are No-Marks and Lakme. I bought No-Marks Face Pack Powder. You mix in water to this powder to make it a paste and apply it. It instantly dries and suctions a LOT of impurities as it does. After letting it completely dry(about 5-10 minutes depending on how thick the mask layer is..it doesn’t need to be very thick), I wash it off by using a No-Marks scrub soap bar(I found it in some Indian carry-out stores in California). Instantly, my face brightens, without being too dry and patchy, and a lot of my acne seems to disappear(well it goes down considerably). I do this twice a week. Every morning, I wash my face with Lakme MATTeffect Purifying Facewash, and while my face is still wet, I apply some Lakme Icy Fresh Gel to my face and let the gel absorb in for a few seconds. I then pat dry with a towel. This combination gives my face a glowing effect. In fact, I usually don’t need to apply a separate foundation to even out my face because the facewash and gel create that effect. I also drink lots of water, which helps clear out your system. The moment I started using these products, I noticed an immediate difference in my face. My acne actually started to clear up and disappear. I also agree with the person above me. Avoid oily junky foods and your face will clear up. I haven’t had soda and candy in nearly 2 years. It not only helps your face, but it’s also more healthy for your body. Also, the above-mentioned products work great for even people who don’t suffer from acne. The mask really helps relax tired muscles, and the facewash can help you keep layers of make-up off. Hope this helps =] (PS. I do use Clearasil Vanishing Cream–when I’m stressed out, I tend to break out regardless of the fact that I now have a pretty clear face–and it does help. Don’t try to apply globs of it on, cuz that’ll just dry out your skin. Just a thin layer once in the morning and once before bed can work miracles.)

whenever my hair stays my forehead, it eventually clogs the pores on my forehead and causes acne wherever my hair was touching; though I use topical acne treatment, I must wear my hear up every day and must use a hairband every night to ensure no acne forms. I think it is becuase my hair is excessively oily; how do I reduce the oil in my hair? Are there special shampoos/conditioners that would help with this problem? Thank you.

your pores aren’t being ‘clogged’.
you’re getting acne because you have oily skin/hair, the bacteria that causes acne feeds on sebum.

Obviously since it’s winter my face gets dry but it also sort of oily. Therefore I have couple of blackhead and red spots. Any suggestions please?

Thank you!

If you have any questions after reading this please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you are looking for a low cost, effective way of getting rid of acne I suggest that you try red clover acne tea. It’s actually and blend of several natural ingredients and good for a variety of inflammatory skin conditions, acne being one of them. I personally endorse this product because I use it and began using it without telling my family about it, drinking it one to two times a day.

Shortly after beginning to use it–about 2 weeks–I was helping my mother do something on the computer. She kept looking looking at me. Finally, she just stopped and said "What did you do to you skin?" Confused, I said "Nothing. Why?" She said "It looks so much better and so healthy!" Thinking rapidly I responded "Oh, that. I started to drink this special tea to help me with my acne. I suppose it’s working!"

I’ve now been using red clover tea for a few month and my skin is healthier than ever. The bumps on my face have gone down, my skin is smoother than ever and my skin is less oily. The bumps on my back and chest have also gone down. I still have a few but compared to before they’re nothing about which to complain. The best part is that it only costs me $15 every 6 weeks to 2 months to maintain my acne fighting routine which is significantly less than other acne fighting systems like Proactiv or Klear and my skin is not left feeling dry and tight, as is a common side effect with those systems.

I do continue to clean my face a few times a week with a facial cleanser and I do use a drying agent every now and again as they do have their benefits but I do not rely on them anymore.

Red Clover Acne Tea has been the most effective acne fighting product I’ve ever tried and will continue to us it.

My grandmother insists that this is the ultimate cure. I have been taking some, but don’t see a result. Is this a futile attempt to get rid of adult acne? It’s not very severe.
What is this vitamin generally good for? My tongue peels on a regular basis – I still don’t know why – but it’s helped that a lot.

Waste of time.

There actually is a real vitamin that helps acne. Vitamin A and its chemical relatives, the retinoids, when applied topically are an excellent treatment for acne.

You can also get generic benzoyl peroxide creams at the local drug store for not much money.
